Day 01: Arrival in
Varanasi
Arrive in Varanasi and transfer
to the hotel. In the evening, visit Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the
mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a captivating ceremony with lights and chants on the
banks of the Ganges. Afterward, take a leisurely walk along the ghats to absorb
the spiritual atmosphere. Overnight stay in Varanasi
Day 02: Varanasi
Begins the day with an early
morning visit to Kaal Bhairav Temple, followed by the famous Kashi Vishwanath
Temple, Annapurna Temple, and Vishalakshi Temple. After breakfast, explore
cultural and spiritual sites, including Bharat Mata Temple and Durga Temple. In
the afternoon, visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, and
explore the Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, and the Sarnath Archaeological
Museum. Return to Varanasi for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Varanasi
to Prayagraj
After breakfast, drive to
Prayagraj, approximately 120 km (2-3 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to the
hotel. In the afternoon, visit Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges,
Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers, and the Kumbh Mela site. Continue to Anand
Bhavan, the ancestral home of the Nehru family, and visit Allahabad Fort.
Overnight stay in Prayagraj.
Day 04: Prayagraj
to Bodhgaya
After breakfast, drive to
Bodhgaya, approximately 320 km (6-7 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel
and check in. Spend the evening visiting the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World
Heritage site, and the Bodhi Tree, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
Explore other nearby monasteries and temples. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya
Day 05: Departure
from Bodhgaya
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning
exploring any remaining sights in Bodhgaya. Depending on your departure
schedule, transfer to the nearest airport or railway station for your onward
journey.
